Here’s to Freedom

As I watch my kids play late into the evening on this pretty summer night, I just can’t help but be grateful for freedom of choice (and no, when I use that phrase I do not believe it includes the choice to take the life of another, particularly the unborn). Freedom to choose their schooling- homeschool for us, freedom to choose their medical and dental care (and freedom to decide what’s best for our family within those options), freedom to choose where we live and how late we stay out, freedom to choose what we eat and when, freedom to choose what kind of products I bring into my home… So many choices we get to make to do what Luke and I believe is best for our own family. So many choices we get to make based on what we KNOW our family NEEDS (and also what they NEED to stay away from for the sake of their health and possibly their lives).

Sadly, and it seems to be with both younger and older generations alike, I think society as a whole tends to forget that once we remove these freedoms, NOBODY has the luxury of doing what’s best for their own family anymore. People may assume that options need to be taken away because they don’t feel they are for “the greater good”, but taking away those options is almost guaranteed to take away more, and almost always encroaches on the rights of the people who wanted the original ones removed. It’s a vicious cycle and will never end well for anybody.

So here’s to our FREEDOM, paid for first by Jesus for eternity, then here in America by the men and women who have fought and/or sacrificed their lives throughout the years for the rest of us.

Don’t take any of it for granted. ♥️♥️

Brynna

Hi there! My name is Brynna and I'm wife to my favorite paramedic and mama to five awesome children. We homeschool, and for a year and a half, we lived in an RV so we could travel, grow closer as a family, and prayerfully decide on a place to build our new home. I am passionate about true wellness, and I run a business with Q Sciences, where I'm able to share my love for health. I've been also found myself moving into a position of ministry for women who've suffered miscarriages/pregnancy loss, as I've had nine of my own, and I love to support and encourage young mom
