Brynna If you’ve read anything I’ve ever written, you already know that I’ve spent a few years with Young Living AFTER avoiding any kind of network marketing company for most of my life because I just followed what I heard and assumed it was some sort of “bad.” I’ve been out of that mindset for so long that I can’t even recall the specific reasons I thought this industry was so terrible…I literally just parrotted the opinions of other people, which, as I’m learning, are often times ALSO parrotted without thought. But anyway, that’s where I came from when God did a work on my heart, humbled me, and then blessed me in big ways through Young Living.
But recently, after a lot of prayer and consideration (and that came AFTER months of refusing to even consider the idea! Seeing a theme?!), I chose to partner with Q Sciences…short for Quintessential Biosciences.
For me, this change came after a long time of praying for God to open doors financially, but also prayers for physical healing. Q Sciences offers both. At first, I thought to myself, “God wouldn’t answer my prayers with something like this. That’s silly and shallow.” Ane then I was convicted on how silly and shallow *I* was being by making that assumption.
Young Living changed my perspective on a lot of things. My experience there was never bad- it taught me many new things, grew me as a person, brought so many wonderful people into my life, and helped give me a platform to share about something that I love- living well! I am so grateful to everyone there who helped me learn and grow.
However, the company has been changing, as seasons do, and so I felt like it was time to consider something else. I refused to believe it could possibly look just like the same thing, only with a different company, as I wasn’t seeing the kind of success I’d been working toward after almost three years. I didn’t think there was anything different out there, just more of the same with maybe some different products and a different company name.
I was wrong. (theme, again??) When people say that with Q Sciences, “it’s different here!”, they really do mean it’s DIFFERENT. I’ve never been so personally invested in until I partnered with this company and began working with some of these people. Even in the beginning stages, I already feel so much more successful than I did after years with my previous company. The training is different, the support is different, the products are different, and the compensation is CERTAINLY different.
So I stepped out in faith and I’m praying that God has a reason for opening my heart to this opportunity and will use me here. I have already made so many wonderful connections and new friendships, have so many more people I’m praying for (and who are praying for me!), and have begun experiencing the benefits of these innovative products. I’d say that’s a win, already.
