“New Normal”

I don’t like the “new normal” label.  I don’t believe anything going on is normal, or should be normal.

So I decided to re-frame the phrase a bit.

If we’re gonna coin this time the “new normal”, I propose it looks like this::

➡️Make an effort to be healthy- physically, mentally emotionally, and spiritually.  Don’t wait for someone else to tell you what to do or how to do it, just go for it! You ARE equipped with the ability to research and make your own decisions, AND you have the right to do so. To re-iterate what I wrote in my post the other day: we should ALL be shooting for healthier eating, more exercise, more WATER, lots of sunshine, less toxic exposure on a daily basis, supportive care, healthy relationships, human touch, immune support, etc.

➡️Advocate for all of that☝️ for EVERYONE.  Young, old, and in between.  At home or in a care facility… we have the same needs because that’s how our bodies were designed.  Don’t fall for the idea that we can somehow manage to stay healthy by taking whatever measures are being recommended if we aren’t TRULY healthy to begin with!

➡️Be active in your local government.  Know who holds seats (and not just in your district), what’s happening, and how you can responsibly participate.  Pay close attention to the little things…not just the big stuff that makes the news.  If you know others who are crying out for help with legislation that could be damaging to their health, family, livelihood, property, or whatever it might be, stand up for them!

➡️Stay informed.  Ask questions. (and know that it IS okay to do so!)  Don’t assume the narrative is always accurate or correct.  Seek truth until the very end!  You have NOTHING to lose in doing so.  You may find out you are wrong (or what you’re being told is), or you’ll just confirm it as correct.  It’s a win either way, because….truth!

➡️Stand up!  If something feels wrong or doesn’t add up, plant your feet firmly on the ground and say it, out loud, and don’t be afraid of the backlash.  Because there WILL be backlash, somewhere, from someone.  But chances are, you’re NOT standing alone.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure why all of this isn’t already the norm, but hopefully this can be what comes from the experiences of the last several months.  These are the kinds of things that will have the most prominent, long-lasting effects!

Hi there! My name is Brynna and I'm wife to my favorite paramedic and mama to five awesome children. We homeschool, and for a year and a half, we lived in an RV so we could travel, grow closer as a family, and prayerfully decide on a place to build our new home. I am passionate about true wellness, and I run a business with Q Sciences, where I'm able to share my love for health. I've been also found myself moving into a position of ministry for women who've suffered miscarriages/pregnancy loss, as I've had nine of my own, and I love to support and encourage young mom
