These babies of mine. They’ve caused me more stress and headaches just trying to keep them healthy. Not because I don’t trust that God is in control, but because He has also given me this responsibility, and I know I’m working against a system and a collection of industries that want us to think they’re out for our health, when that’s simply not true. It’s DANG HARD WORK to pay close attention, do the research, and regularly go against the flow. But it’s my job. My responsibility. They’re depending on me for this!
In a day where infertility and endocrine system disruption is higher than EVER, it’s so sad that heavily fragrance/toxic laden products are common to buy kids.
Mama’s, the products you’re applying to your littles. The candles you’re burning. The stuff you’re using to clean your homes. It matters.
I’ll say it again.
IT MATTERS
“Allergies. Asthma. Eczema. Migraines. Anxiety. Infertility. Cancer. Autoimmune conditions.
Statistically, these things are more than common, they’re practically expected in our culture today. Common doesn’t make them NORMAL.
The European Union has banned over 10,000 toxic chemicals from their products. The US has banned less than twenty.
We must wake up. They’re not protecting us. WE MUST PROTECT US. Mama, you are the gatekeeper for your home.
“They wouldn’t sell it if it weren’t safe” So long as we have government entities recognizing the Twinkie as legitimate food, we must recognize that assumed safety is foolishness.
Read your labels: petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, fragrance, SLS… just a starting point, but never ever ever let those ingredients in your home. They are the instigators for the health issues at the top of this post.
Let’s KNOW BETTER and DO BETTER.
And if you need help, ask. I wish I’d asked sooner.”
