Brynna We have two backpacks for each kiddo…their school pack, and their nature pack! The nature packs are smaller and lighter, and they just hold essentials for being out and exploring. Flashlights, first aid kits (lavender oil is part of that), sunscreen and bug spray (smaller bottles, but we haven’t divided them up yet), fire starters, a compass, magnifying glass, notebook and nature journal, watercolor paints and field journal, pencil…all those things a kid needs to thoroughly explore the outdoors. 🙂
