Favorite Nature Books

These are so much fun, whether out and about or stuck in the house. The top two we use for field and nature journaling where we do a lot for watercolor painting (another thing inspired by and included in Lamp+Light curriculum!). The “anatomy” books come from a set of four- these two plus Farm and Food- and if you don’t have them, get them TODAY because they are so much fun! We like the edible plant book when we’re camping, we have another that complements it but I can’t find it. 😩 And the “Handbook of Nature Study”…a staple for homeschool! And the older version, the better, because…old books. The look, the quality, the SMELL….who’s with me?!?

Nature Anatomy and Ocean Anatomy by Julia Rothman (we also love Farm Anatomy)

Brynna

Hi there! My name is Brynna and I'm wife to my favorite paramedic and mama to five awesome children. We homeschool, and for a year and a half, we lived in an RV so we could travel, grow closer as a family, and prayerfully decide on a place to build our new home. I am passionate about true wellness, and I run a business with Q Sciences, where I'm able to share my love for health. I've been also found myself moving into a position of ministry for women who've suffered miscarriages/pregnancy loss, as I've had nine of my own, and I love to support and encourage young mom
