Homeschool Planning

Seriously though, my favorite part. I LOVE planning our school. I go week by week and this year am adding in months. By not scheduling out our whole year from the start, my planing-perfectionist mind can adjust to changes and flexibility. I write up my own schedules to refer to and I also make one for each of the kids so they can do their independent work at their own pace throughout the week. Mine often work ahead to finish early, and that’s perfectly fine! No need to add work to fill in what they freed up- that defeats the purpose and discourages them.

Are there easier and faster ways to plan? Yes. It’s not necessary to do it this way, but it’s MY way! And would it be as much fun, or as pretty? I vote no. I would rather write than type, and not be tied to a computer. Did I mention I love this part?

Brynna

Hi there! My name is Brynna and I'm wife to my favorite paramedic and mama to five awesome children. We homeschool, and for a year and a half, we lived in an RV so we could travel, grow closer as a family, and prayerfully decide on a place to build our new home. I am passionate about true wellness, and I run a business with Q Sciences, where I'm able to share my love for health. I've been also found myself moving into a position of ministry for women who've suffered miscarriages/pregnancy loss, as I've had nine of my own, and I love to support and encourage young mom
