The Desert Season

I’m so tired of life’s “deserts.” I may only be 35, and I know I haven’t seen the pain and trials that so many others have, but I often still feel wiped out from my own. Marriage is hard work, parenting is hard work, figuring out who you are outside of those roles is hard work. Being ALIVE is hard work!

Thankful for the way God speaks gentle reminders to us, because this devotional was perfect. Hopefully what encouraged me might encourage you, too!

“God often does His best work in the desert. And though the fruit of this season may not be visible to you now, you can trust that seeds are being planted as you lean into Him and trust Him to bring you through.

And if you are on the other side of a long desert season, you have a gift you can share with the body of Christ. Your life is a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and the goodness He can bring from those desert years. To God be all the glory.” @first5app

Brynna

Hi there! My name is Brynna and I'm wife to my favorite paramedic and mama to five awesome children. We homeschool, and for a year and a half, we lived in an RV so we could travel, grow closer as a family, and prayerfully decide on a place to build our new home. I am passionate about true wellness, and I run a business with Q Sciences, where I'm able to share my love for health. I've been also found myself moving into a position of ministry for women who've suffered miscarriages/pregnancy loss, as I've had nine of my own, and I love to support and encourage young mom
